The more things move, the more they change. And vice-versa.
Populuxe has risen again from another slumber; Mark Pardy, drummer/percussionist from "a foggy day in brooklyn" has organized our first show together in over 10 years. Mike Mallory is on bass, and Christine Hudman will harmonize.

The entire Populuxe catalog, out of print and out of supply, is digitally re-released. Plus, a new single -- "Mayor of Simpleton," all of which will be available for the first time on Friday, June 10, to coincide with the Las Vegas show.
In addition, two side projects Rob has been involved in are getting THEIR releases this month:
The Velvet Collar's "Double Standard" is a collection of other songs done as affectionately and uniquely as Populuxe. Joe Jackson, Hoagy Carmichael, Gershwin and the Stooges all stand together; part of the rich source material and approach.
Town and Country Band, for which Rob is the vocalist, is a blue-state country disc coming out on SomePhil records in the coming month. Check out the first single: Everybody Wants To Say I Do, a Spector-like sing-along anthem about the universality of love and marriage. Go to:
